HIGH SCHOOL GAME of THE WEEK SEPTEMBER 22, 2017 MAGOFFIN COUNTY HORNETS v. POWELL COUNTY PIRATES Eastern Kentucky sports media leader, BLUEGRASS SPORTS NATION has chosen at its game of the week for Friday, September 22nd as the Magoffin County at Powell County matchup. This is the Class 3A District 7 opener for each team. The Magoffin County Hornets are led by Head Coach Justin Combs in his sophomore campaign, and they will travel to Stanton to take on the Powell County Pirates led by Head Coach Brandon Brewer. Bluegrass Sports Nation will have pregame interviews each of the Head Coaches, quarterly tweets with score updates, and a photo gallery of the game by BSN photographer Brendon Miller to relive all the action.
